Apprentice Farmer, a summer activity at the Bergerie Nationale!

Fun activities combining games and discovering the farm and its animals.
A wonderful summer vacation on the farm is in store!

The Bergerie Nationale educational farm offers a multitude of activities for family fun.

Participatory workshops to learn how to care for and feed farm animals
• 14:30 p.m.: meeting with the goats
• 15:30 p.m.: meet the donkeys, ponies and horses
• 16:30 p.m.: meet the chickens
• 17:30 p.m.: meeting with the goats

A fair of trades
Many fun and independent activities: the farmer's sensory box, the cowherd's skittles, the poultry farmer's egg recognition, the coachman's horseshoe throwing, the shepherd's transhumance...

The farm school
Children will also have to do their holiday homework ;-) on farm jobs and animal or plant management: the shepherd and his sheep, the cowherd and his cows, the coachman and his horses, the poultry farmer and his chickens, the gardener and his vegetables, the beekeeper and his bees.

The great game of the goose “Farm life in the 4 seasons”
Offered independently, the objective of the game is to gain a good understanding of agricultural work throughout the seasons in relation to the feeding, reproduction and well-being of our animals.

Without forgetting...
• Around 16 p.m.: meeting with our cowherds during the milking of the cows
• Visit to the Montorgueil garden and its barefoot trail
• The straw pool and a play area with a giant sandbox!
