Bonnelles Ponds Nature Reserve

The Etangs de Bonnelles Regional Nature Reserve covers nearly 22 hectares of wooded land, ponds and meadows. Only the northern part of the reserve is open to the public.

Two ponds and wooded grounds provide a peaceful setting where a variety of flora and fauna live. This diversity favors many animal and plant species, sometimes rare or threatened. If you perceive delicate dragonflies, know that there are 36 species listed on the site, 6 of which are protected...

And if you prefer to scrutinize the many birds that have taken up residence within the Reserve, a former pier converted into an ornithological observatory is at your disposal to silently enjoy the show...
