1 – CHATEAU DE RAMBOUILLET
A former medieval fortress, Rambouillet castle was gradually transformed into a pleasure residence and adorned with elegant decorations by its illustrious owners.
The magnificently furnished Château de Breteuil brings to life with 50 wax figures the daily life of a family at the heart of French history. Eight stories by Perrault are presented in the outbuildings. The 75 hectare park includes the remarkable tree walk, several gardens, a labyrinth, a medieval dovecote, play areas and picnic areas.
