The CNF is located in the heart of Haute Vallée de Chevreuse Regional Natural Park and the forest of Rambouillet. It was inaugurated in 1988.
Fernand Sastre, then President of the French Football Federation, wanted to create a quiet place equivalent to the Parc des Princes.
Since its inauguration, the National Football Center has been ahead of its time. Equipped with very high-level facilities, in the heart of a green setting, the National Football Center has always been able to place the greatest French players in the best conditions to perform at the highest level.
Since 1988, the National Football Center has written its rich history to the rhythm of the exploits of French football. Victory in the 1998 World Cup and the popular fervor never seen before in French sport testify to these glorious memories inscribed for eternity, as well as the consecration of 2018, in every corner of the 62 hectares of the site.
Since August 2022, the Tourist Office is delighted to be able to show you around the National Football Center and to offer you the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of your idols!
After a brief historical overview of the site, we will take you on a tour of the grounds: you will discover the outdoor facilities, the French team's castle (the large lounges, the dining room and the locker room), as well as the "Espace Bleu" museum space and the shop.
Do not hesitate to subscribe to our Newsletter (registration possible from the home page of our website) to learn about the opening of the ticket office in advance!
