With its attentive service of the highest degree, the enveloping intimacy of its rooms, the generosity of its common spaces as grandiose as they are familiar and the infinite range of its activities, the estate transports us to this incredible family home 45 minutes from Paris.
Under the talented leadership of Cordélia de Castellane who imagined each decor down to the smallest detail, designed each motif, designed each room in a unique way, drawing inspiration from the history of the place, the estate reverses the classic codes of hotel industry and builds deeper bonds with its guests.
Over the course of the 4 seasons, by the fire or by the lake, between rejuvenation, earthly food and exceptional moments, everyone writes their own experience at the Abbaye des Vaux de Cernay.
The Abbaye des Vaux de Cernay is open to the outside public for certain activities and for restaurants.
The walls decorated with original fabrics, the antique or custom-designed furniture, the accumulation of carefully chosen trinkets: each room is absolutely unique and has that singular charm of country houses, capable of making you unfailingly faithful to “one's” room, or on the contrary to give the irresistible desire to discover a new one each time you stay.
The Abbey offers three room categories, two types of suites and five signature suites.

– Hunts: the former hunting room of the Rothschild family becomes the most elegant of the Domaine's tables (open to external customers from Tuesday to Thursday – also by reservation only).
– The monks’ refectory: there is undeniably a scent of Hogwarts in this incredible refectory with its vaults studded with candles. (brunches open to external customers by reservation only including access to domain activities.)
– The inn: a country table as we imagine them, generous and tasty, inviting relaxation and sharing. (open to external customers only from Sunday evening to Monday evening – also by reservation only).

Nestled in the heart of the stud farm, the Spa reinvents the experience of well-being in its own way. Once through the door of the place, we are transported into a soft and cozy universe with plant accents. Enveloped by the floral-green olfactory signature of the Spa, we discover an offer of exceptional treatments for the body and face.
Open to external customers only during the week. On weekends, only guests staying at the Abbey have access to the spa.
