The passing of the Olympic Flame through Rambouillet is both unique and symbolic and perfectly marks the participation and commitment of the city (benefiting from the Terre de jeux label) in the Olympic spirit and in its policy in favor of sport for all.
The 2024 Olympic Games in Yvelines– 20 p.m.: gathering of all sports club members at the Vieux Moulin stadium.
20:15 p.m.: departure of the procession, preceded by the Nickel fanfare.
20:40 p.m.: arrival of the procession at Place de la Libération and welcome by the Mayor and the personalities.
21 p.m.: Festive concert by Rod Prod.
– 10 a.m. – 18 p.m.: Giant Goose Game offered to children at Place de la Libération, sporting challenges to complete and prizes to be won including places in the Paralympic Games.

– At 8:06 a.m.: arrival of the torch bearer traveling through the 63 squares of the giant goose and torch kiss game

– Covering the floor and the handrail of the field, with tarpaulins on which words chosen by the primary school pupils will be written, evoking the Olympic Games for them
– Distribution of souvenir posters of these words to spectators so that they can hold them up when the bearer of the Flame arrives and also be involved in the event
– At 8:57 a.m., arrival of the torchbearer and transmission of the flame, from torch to lantern
