In 2024, Yvelines and France have a meeting with History. A century after hosting the Olympic Games, Paris will once again be the host city of the Olympic Games (from July 26 to August 11) and Paralympic Games (from August 28 to September 8) in 2024, organized by the Organizing Committee of the Olympic Games (COJO) Paris 2024. It's a new collective adventure that awaits the people of Yvelines!
On July 23, 2024, Rambouillet was one of the 8 communes of Yvelines to host the Olympic Flame relay.
The passing of the Olympic Flame through Rambouillet is both unique and symbolic and perfectly marks the participation and commitment of the city (benefiting from the Terre de jeux label) in the Olympic spirit and in its policy in favor of sport for all.
