The Casquette Brothers, Rap for Kids!

The new show "Generations" explores themes from children's everyday lives, their imaginations, and the evolution of hip-hop from the 80s to today. Family relationships (the teenage older sister, parents who lack cultural references, grandparents overwhelmed by technology) provide ample opportunity to play with words and have fun with unusual situations through music.

Sam and Drum, who are also geeks, can't help but clash over existential questions: who is stronger, Naruto or Son Goku?

Blending slam poetry and rap, the texts are performed in a way that is suitable for young audiences.

Drum introduces children to one of the most spectacular disciplines of hip-hop: beatboxing, music made with the mouth. With the loop station, spectators also discover how tracks were composed up until the 2000s: by taking samples from existing songs, all accompanied by Cousin Bob's bass and keyboard.
