La Chapelle de Clairefontaine is a contemporary art center hosting events, exhibitions and educational workshops throughout the year.

In the heart of the charming village of Clairefontaine-en-Yvelines, La Chapelle invites you to discover a unique cultural space where history, creativity, and artistic encounters intersect. Housed in the village's former monastery chapel, this renovated space, run by a local association, offers contemporary art exhibitions, cultural events, and workshops open to all throughout the year.

A place for sharing and discovery, La Chapelle highlights creativity in all its forms — visual arts, sculpture, music, theatre or performances — and offers a program accessible to families, art enthusiasts as well as the curious.

Since its renovation and reopening to the public in 2016, this art center has become an unmissable destination in the Chevreuse Valley, located less than an hour from Paris.
