Located in the Garden of the Palace of the King of Rome in Rambouillet, the Pavillon du Verger opens to the public after a long and meticulous restoration.
This pavilion was commissioned by the Duke of Penthièvre in the early 1770s and has a charming decor of children's games.
The latter, figured on plaster medallions imitating biscuit porcelain, are enhanced by a delicate shades of blue and faux marble lower paneling.
In the annex, built on the site of a former wardrobe, an interpretation area with audio-visual material provides a better understanding of the history of the place.
