Built from 1784 on the order of Louis XVI, the Palace of the King of Rome was then rebuilt by Napoleon I in 1 and offered to his son, the King of Rome. The Palace today houses the art and history museum of the town of Rambouillet.
From February 10 to April 7
Inside, you will find a model of the monument in its original state, and a selection of works from the XNUMXth, XNUMXth and XNUMXth centuries: paintings and drawings, furniture, rare board games depicting gardens and landscapes...
The museum also presents three to four temporary exhibitions per year.
Also having a charming little garden at the back of the Palace, it is an unexpected visit in the heart of downtown Rambouillet.
Guided tours and workshops for children are regularly organized there, games with free access are also available at the reception.
