The Montorgueil Garden, a tree-filled garden and its barefoot trail!

A former historic arboretum, the Montorgueil garden is a natural heritage that invites naturalist discoveries. By walking the barefoot trail, you will cross different spaces: a watercourse and its phytoremediation zone, areas cultivated with local species, an organic and permaculture garden, facilities and shelters to develop animal biodiversity, historic trees to explain their environmental impact, an open-air theater with a cultural and artistic program in the summer season, and finally works of art scattered here and there to arouse the curiosity of walkers.

The Montorgueil garden trail invites you to discover in a fun way - and above all barefoot! - the different materials used for the natural mulching of our gardens. From cocoa pods to paving stones, straw, wood chips or sheep's wool, it's a real sensory experience to enjoy with the family!

Mulching is a technique that consists in covering the soil around plants and other vegetation in the garden (potted plants, trees, garden vegetables, etc.). Its advantages are numerous: it keeps the soil moist in the summer, protects from the cold in the winter, enriches the soil with nutrients, etc.

Possibility of a free or guided visit to the Jardin de Montorgueil only for groups:
. Morning from 10am to 12pm and afternoon from 13:30pm to 15:30pm

The educational farm and the Montorgueil Garden are open on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, public holidays and every day of the holidays (zone C).

Schedules
• Ticket office from 14 p.m. to 17 p.m.
• Farm closes at 18:30 p.m.
• Barefoot course closes at 18:30 p.m.

The rates
• Adult: €8,50
• Child from 3 to 12 years old: €6,50
• Under 3 years old: free
Children must be accompanied by adults.
