A hike proposed by the PNRDeparture: place de la Croix, access by the D27 at the exit of Clairefontaine in the direction of Rambouillet
Arriving at Place de la Croix, leaving Clairefontaine (direction Rambouillet), take the second right “Chemin de la Grande Brèche”. At the Y, go right "Chemin des Fremillons" then leave the tarmac road when it turns right to continue straight and climb through the woods.
At the top of the path leave the path on your left and take the second right, then the next left.
At the next intersection, turn left onto the Chemin de la Croix du Grand Huntsman.
Continue straight until the cross where you turn left, then always straight on this path until the road that you go straight down again until the place of the Cross.
