This forest massif offers an astonishing variety of landscapes. Its large forest paths allow walkers to crisscross this natural site from side to side and discover remarkable undergrowth.
The forest of Pinceloup includes the Bois du Roi, the forest of plants and the Bois de Pinceloup. It is mainly made up of oak forests with dense copses on the plateau. Two main main paths cross it: the green path and the old Saint-Arnoult road. To the south, the green path, remarkable for its vault essentially made up of hornbeams, aspens and large oaks, leads to the Château de Pinceloup. The General Council of Yvelines ensures the preservation and enhancement of spaces with remarkable landscape and ecological characteristics. This action is part of a vast departmental program promoting the maintenance of the quality of landscapes and biodiversity in the Yvelines and the opening of natural sites.
